Can’t sell the idea of taking care of a neighbor.

Can’t sell the idea of caring for the weak or unfortunate.

Sold handing authority over the highest office in the Nation to a cheating liar rapist felon.

I can’t say that the god I know approves. Personally, I’m disappointed.

Enough people wanted the felon in charge.

And enough of the clown’s followers became felons themselves.

And then the United States just shrugs and goes, deal with it … it’s who we are.

And there’s a few of us looking around, bewildered … but not many.

I keep reaching out – both trying to help and trying to get help.

Even those who need it don’t want it. No one has it to give.

There’s just not enough of an infinite resource.

I love you, whoever you are.

Whatever little pocket of the universe you inhabit.

Even if you hate me … that’s okay.

Someday I’ll get to enjoy seeing the world from your perspective.

Someday I’ll see what you create.

And someday, maybe, if you ever decide you want to,

We could experience it together.

Take it in.

Share experiences.

Join each other. Empower. Become greater. Combine strengths.

Reduce weakness. Defend vulnerabilities. If you want.

Only if you want. When you want.

Because yes, it’s true … I’d love to do all manner of perverse things.

Experience everything about the wonder that is you.

But without the pain of not knowing. Without the fear of being without

trust. Only when and only if you want.

That’s the god I know.

The god I know is not a child who destroys

because it did not get it’s way.

But maybe it was, once upon a time. I certainly have been.

And maybe that’s the way of things.

Good luck, divine beings.

I love you.

I’d love to enjoy more of you.

I am a desperately lonely military retiree who spent his life dedicated to the ideals of the United States Constitution, including the concept of democracy; that is to me the concept of an informed populace consenting to abide by core rules enacted by elected representatives.

And I now sit here and fiddle. I wait to die. I watch the world change around me. I marvel at the fact that my parents grew up without *indoor plumbing* and here we are just *manufacturing* truth after a brief moment where everyone could see everything.

We worry about whether AI will *replace us* after granting lifestyles of nobility and respect unto researchers and scientists looking for extraterrestrial life while we exploit any life alien to our own as a mere commodity to trade or consume. I feel like it’s a mixed message.

But that’s what humans are, right? Mixed messages? We want it today but don’t tomorrow.

I hope you find what you want today.

I hope I do, too.
