Yeah

Oh, we’re supposed to be hopeful about being close to a ceasefire even though we continue to supply bombs to folks dropping them on schools and hospitals and (at least) one of the sides has no interest in not killing everyone and this all continues to be spin and coverup of ongoing genocide that has been being called out at the UN for quite some time now.

You know, the conflict that we built some big temporary dock for that then didn’t work or really get much help to people (checks notes) being bombed in the places they’ve been told to shelter in.

The rules of war say that you’re not allowed to use civilians as human shields, but Israel apparently thinks that means the civilians are fair game if the criminals use them as shields. Or, at least it’s a convenient excuse if your intention is simply to kill them all anyway, right? And who cares if a journalist or two goes with them … who needs people learning about all the death and destruction on defenseless human beings, right?
