Just kidding.

It’s truly … thought provoking … to be breathing air on a planet inhabited by beings that look like me, but (apparently) think and act in wildly different ways.

I didn’t think this nation had enough people stupid or corrupt enough to allow Drumpty to occupy the highest office in the land. I was wrong.

When he began pulling stupid stunts and taking private meetings with Russians in the white house, I laughed at how quickly he was going to be removed from office. I was wrong.

When articles of impeachment were *finally* filed against a sitting executive flaunting every law, policy and guideline daily, I was relieved that there would finally be some accountability. I was wrong.

And now, here I sit, breathing, while the “republican” fascist insurrectionist wannabe dictator TRAITOR candidate leads in the poles and the “democratic” wing is having a reality crisis of their own as they wonder whether their pawpaw is more likable or not.

Personally, I think this is ridiculous. On the other hand, I have no children who need to be prepared to navigate this reality, and I live a reasonably comfortable life. I have it better than most of the 8 billion human beings currently wandering around on this rock.

Maybe I’m wrong.
